ES Sunlogy’s unit secures contracts worth RM25.07 mil

KUALA LUMPUR: ES Sunlogy Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Savelite Engineering Sdn Bhd (Savelite), has secured two letters of award (LOAs) from Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd for sub-works contracts worth a combined RM25.07 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the engineering services company said Savelite secured a sub-works contract for the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and extra low voltage (ELV) works for a 52-storey service apartment construction in Pulau Andaman, Penang.

“The RM19.87 million contract commenced on July 1, 2026. It is scheduled for completion by Dec 31, 2029, subject to time extension in accordance with LOA provisions,” the filing said.

ES Sunlogy said the other contract involves infrastructure works for five canal bridges in Pulau Andaman, Penang, valued at RM5.20 million.

“The contract commenced on Nov 24, 2025. It is scheduled for completion on Aug 23, 2028, or by any extension of time provisions in the LOA,” said ES Sunlogy.

According to the company, Savelite’s acceptance of the contracts is expected to contribute positively to its net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing throughout the contract duration.

The LOAs will not affect the company’s share capital and substantial shareholdings.

“Additionally, the sub-contract works are considered as a related-party transaction because Kerjaya Prospek (M), being the transacting party, is a company within the group of companies under Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd.

“ES Sunlogy had obtained its shareholders’ mandate for related party transactions entered into or to be entered into by the group with the Kerjaya Group, its subsidiaries and joint ventures at its extraordinary general meeting held on Oct 21, 2026,” it added.
