First Nation in Manitoba’s Interlake reclaiming its Cree language identity through lessons

Students from nursery to Grade 6 in Fisher River are taking Cree classes every other day of the week, in a push to improve fluency. Most adults in the community, located in Manitoba’s Interlake, can’t speak the language.
