Heavy departure traffic at Woodlands on Sept 2 due to tailback from Malaysia: ICA

Travellers departing Singapore via Woodlands Checkpoint are advised that there is currently “very heavy departure traffic” due to tailback from Malaysia.In an advisory posted on its social media at 11.14am on Wednesday (Sept 2), the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said travellers should expect delays.They are also advised also check traffic conditions before embarking on their journey.Checks by AsiaOne on the Land Transport Authority’s traffic cameras at 11.40am show that the vehicular queue has extended to Woodlands Crossing.

On the Causeway, the tailback appears to have reached the midpoint-mark.
