KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia’s 30-stock index opened lower on Friday trailing Wall Street’s sharp decline as the AI-stocks rout re-emerged.
The key index dropped 15 points to open at 1,620.
It is expected to hover between the 1,630 and 1,640 range today.
In the crypto exchange, Bitcoin slumped to RM308,223.
Ethereum slipped to RM9,060 while Solana rose to RM365.
