MM Computer bags RM51.58mil GPU servers order

KUALA LUMPUR: MM Computer Systems Bhd has secured a RM51.58 million order to supply enterprise-grade, graphics processing unit (GPU)-accelerated servers to a Malaysian telecommunications infrastructure and data centre services provider.

The order was received and accepted by its wholly-owned subsidiary Micro Technology Solution Sdn Bhd, the company said in a statement today.

The servers are designed to handle computationally intensive workloads.

This includes generative artificial intelligence (AI), large language model training and inference, deep learning, advanced data analytics and high-performance computing.

MM Computer said the purchase order is expected to contribute to its earnings per share and net assets per share.

The contract strengthens the company’s business pipeline as demand for advanced computing infrastructure grows alongside the adoption of AI and other high-performance computing technologies, it added.
