KUALA LUMPUR: Theta Edge Bhd’s unit, Theta Technologies Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM33.01 million exclusive contract from Aceteam Networks Sdn Bhd to procure and supply up to 5,742 laptops and desktop computers under a device as a service (DaaS) lifecycle management project.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, it said the appointment will commence on the first delivery date. It will remain in force for five years from the date of the successful completion of the User Acceptance Test.
Aceteam Networks is a Malaysian information technology solutions provider, the filing said.
“The appointment represents an opportunity for Theta Edge and its subsidiaries to leverage existing capabilities and expertise of Theta Technologies in the technology and information technology solutions business.
“Through the appointment, Theta Technologies is expected to expand its business activities in the procurement and supply of computer hardware, thereby providing an opportunity to generate additional revenue and strengthen its business relationship with Aceteam,” it said.
