2027 Budget: Elderly care service tax cut to 6pc, fees exempt up to RM96,000

KUALA LUMPUR: The service tax on elderly care services will be reduced from eight per cent to six per cent from Jan 1, 2027, while care fees of up to RM96,000 a year will be fully exempted.
