KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has warned the public about scammers using fake websites and malicious applications to impersonate the central bank and steal personal and banking information.
“A website may look official, but that doesn’t mean it’s genuine.
“Beware of scammers impersonating BNM through fake websites and malicious apps to steal your personal and banking information.
“Stay alert! Verify suspicious information at bnm.gov.my/verify,” BNM said in a post on its X account today.
