Ekdal recalls playing with John Mellberg when he was three years old

“Father Olof Mellberg, 49, was a defensive giant in his day. Now his son John Mellberg, 20, is in the senior national team. I remember playing with him when he was maybe three years old,” says 27-year-old defensive colleague Hjalmar Ekdal.
