SHAH ALAM: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the prerogative of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, to grant a conditional pardon to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak could not be questioned.
He said the decision on Najib’s pardon in the SRC International Sdn Bhd case was made based on the King’s decree, with all preparations for its implementation already carried out.
“The question arising now is the second case (1MDB), whether it can be implemented or not. That case will be finalised by the Attorney-General and the judiciary,” he said.
