Long-awaited small craft harbour in Arctic Bay, Nunavut, expected to open in 2030

Nunavut MP Lori Idlout announced a $77-million federal investment for the construction of the project first announced in 2019 and initially expected to be completed by 2025. Last week’s announcement is part of a $106-million commitment the government made in 2024.
