N.C. Republicans Pick Balkcom to Replace Edwards

North Carolina Republicans on Monday selected state Rep. Jennifer Balkcom after Rep. Chuck Edwards, R-N.C., abandoned his reelection bid following a House Ethics Committee report recommending his censure over conduct toward two young female staffers.
