NYPD shoots and kills knifeman on tourist-packed Brooklyn Bridge, days after madwoman murdered stranger in Times Square

Officials said at a press conference that they were called to the scene shortly before 3:30am on Friday morning to reports of a man walking on the beams of the bridge.
