LONDON: British singer-actor Harry Styles recently invited a couple who got engaged at one of his shows to feature in his latest music video.
The 32-year-old pop star dropped the video for his new single, Coming Up Roses, which features him taking a beginner’s ballroom dancing class alongside a group of strangers.
Towards the end, the group gathers for a photograph, with newly engaged fans Marivel and Frankie taking centre stage before Styles and the rest of the class pose around them.
The couple got engaged earlier this month at one of Styles’ concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Recalling the special moment, Marivel posted on social media: “First time seeing @harrystyles and it was such a special night that will be remembered forever. Thank you @frankieusher for an amazing night. Looks like you’re my forever date. Love you. We were on the big screen!”
Following their appearance in the video, Marivel took to Instagram to heap praise on the former One Direction star: “Meeting Harry Styles and being in the Coming Up Roses music video is something we never imagined.” “Thank you @harrystyles for making our engagement much more special and having us be a part of such a special song.
“You are truthfully the nicest and just an overall amazing person.”
She also shared a photo of a stunning bouquet of white roses sent to them by the singer.
A handwritten note accompanying the flowers read: “Congratulations! I’m so honoured to have been a small part in it. Love, Harry”
Love seems to be on the mind for the chart-topper himself, too.
Styles — who has been romantically linked with The Batman star Zoë Kravitz since August 2025 — recently opened up about his own aspirations to settle down.
Speaking to DJ Zane Lowe on Apple Music, the singer outlined his five-year plan to get married and start a family.
“I think I had a real honest conversation with myself about, ‘OK, in five years, what do I want my life to look like?’ “And then, ‘How do I make changes to aim at that?’ I don’t want to be the guy who’s on his own but was like, ‘Oh, I really did it.’
“I want to be fulfilled and I want to be in great relationships with people. I want to have great friendships with people. I want a family. I want these things,” he said.
Styles added: “It just allowed me to go like, ‘OK, what do I have to do to create space to allow these things to happen?’ I can’t just expect them to just happen to me.”
