SIC to seek explanation from Kochi Corporation over move to share RTI applicants’ details

Commission says the reported move could deter people from seeking information under the RTI Act; Kochi Corporation had decided to refer details of frequent RTI applicants to the Vigilance for a probe into their financial backgrounds; SIC to seek a copy of the Corporation’s resolution, if any, and decide on the issue after receiving its response
