Sweden’s housing construction to rise in 2027-2028, Boverket forecasts

Housing construction looks set to increase in 2027-2028 compared with this year, according to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning. A new forecast points to just over 32,000 homes being built this year, followed by 34,000-35,000 over the next two years, the authority writes in a press release.
