Thyroid Pills Pulled Nationwide Over ‘Superpotent’ Risk

Vitruvias Therapeutics, an Auburn, Ala.-based drugmaker, is voluntarily recalling a lot of its 30-milligram Thyroid Tablets nationwide after testing found the pills could be “superpotent,” a defect the FDA says could push patients into hyperthyroidism and other risks.
