The initial headline for this story was going to be along the lines of Chelsea Green proving she’s no “charity case” when she defeated Liv Morgan to win the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Unfortunately, that headline had to be deleted. You can blame Tiffany Stratton for that.

Green secured the victory initially after Morgan had sent her Judgment Day stablemates, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez to the back. She said she didn’t need their help to beat Green. She was in control of the match for the most part as the mind games proved to be working. But Morgan took her eyes off Green for a split second. Green shocked Morgan with the win.
Green delivered a heartfelt speech as she relished in the win.
“It’s been a long 13 years. … I do deserve it,” Green said reacting to the crowd. “Thirteen years I left blood, sweat, tears in this ring. They told me for 13 years, I didn’t deserve it. They told me for 13 years that all I was a placeholder and a stepping stone for everybody else. Thirteen years I was overlooked. And now, we did it baby You can officially call me the greatest women’s champion of all time.”

Morgan blindsided Green until Tiffany Stratton, the Women’s Money in the Bank holder, came out from the crowd and hit Morgan with her briefcase. Perez and Rodriguez tried to join the fray but Green knocked them down. It looked like Stratton was going to cash-in on Morgan. Instead, the unthinkable happened.
Stratton nailed Green with the briefcase as well. Stratton decided to turn on her friend and cash-in on Green. She hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and pinned Green for the win.
Stratton became the WWE women’s champion for the second time. Not only did she take the strap from her, but she also stole the Crown Jewel Championship and the Crown Jewel ring from Green as well. Green was left in tears. Green still appears to be recognized as the Crown Jewel champ, but Stratton sure sent a message by taking those material items from her.
It’s the second time Stratton has been able to take advantage of a women’s champion under the guise of friendship, having done so against Nia Jax last year after getting the briefcase in 2024.
Stratton is as conniving as a Money in the Bank winner as the WWE Universe has ever seen. The 946 has said that nobody is safe around them. The same can be said for Stratton with the Women’s Money in the Bank.
