Villagers fear wildfires as residents of illegal South Downs ‘shanty town’ repeatedly burn rubbish inside tinder-dry national park

The eyesore site at Soberton in the South Downs has been occupied by caravans for more than a decade despite rules forbidding anyone from living there.
