Virginia mom receives suspended jail sentence after letting 5-year-old walk to pond in gated community to collect feathers

The mom didn’t see an issue with allowing her son to walk a few blocks unsupervised in the gated community, which has 24-hour security, a 25mph speed limit and three golf courses.
