PUTRAJAYA: The Confidence and Supply Agreement (CSA) remains open to all members of parliament (MPs), not just the 13 opposition MPs who have signed it.
Government spokesman Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil said any MP interested in signing the agreement could come forward for discussions.
“The signing of this CSA is not limited to these 13 MPs alone. It remains open to any MP who wishes to come forward, engage in discussions and sign a CSA.
“So, the door to discussions remains open,” he said at his weekly press conference.
Fahmi said the cabinet had discussed the signing of the agreement at its meeting today, describing it as a positive development for the country’s political stability.
“It reflects a spirit of cooperation in pursuing several institutional reform initiatives.”
