KUALA LUMPUR: ISF Group Bhd has bagged RM83.2 million worth of contracts for a hyperscale data centre project in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan, marking the largest contract win in the company’s history.
The contracts were awarded to its subsidiary Yeo Plumber Sdn Bhd by an established Malaysian-based civil engineering and building construction company
The four contracts cover various piping and infrastructure works for the data centre development.
Three contracts, worth a combined RM73.3 million, involve cold water systems, rainwater harvesting systems, water reticulation and sanitary services.
The remaining contract, valued at RM9.9 million, covers external sewerage infrastructure works.
The projects are scheduled for completion in stages between November 2026 and July 2028.
Following the latest awards, ISF’s unbilled order book has increased to RM225.5 million, providing earnings visibility through the financial year ending Dec 31, 2029.
Managing director Jeff Ai Boon Chen said the contract win marked a significant milestone for the company, reflecting its growing capabilities and ability to undertake larger and more complex projects.
“At RM83.2 million, this is the largest contract we have ever secured. This reflects our growing capabilities and the confidence placed in our ability to undertake increasingly large and complex projects.
“It also demonstrates our readiness to compete for projects of a much greater scale,” he said in a statement.
Ai said Malaysia’s emergence as a regional data centre hub continued to create opportunities for supporting infrastructure works.
With data centres accounting for a significant portion of its business, he said the company was well positioned to secure more projects in the expanding market, supported by its track record in delivering high-specification piping solutions.
He added that the company remained optimistic about its growth prospects, supported by a stronger order book and expanding project portfolio.
Separately, ISF is exploring opportunities to expand into larger-scale water infrastructure projects in Malaysia, particularly water treatment plants and non-revenue water reduction initiatives.
The potential expansion could broaden its project portfolio while complementing its existing piping expertise.
