KUALA LUMPUR: Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd, together with Alpro Group and Mercy Senior Care Centre Sdn Bhd, has broken ground on the Avida Mercy Nursing Care Centre at Suria Heights in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negri Sembilan.
The facility, planned with a capacity of more than 130 beds, will cater to individuals requiring professional nursing support, rehabilitation, post-hospital recovery and long-term care.
Its services include post-surgery rehabilitation, care for bedridden patients, accident recovery and continuous medical supervision, supporting individuals who require care beyond hospital treatment.
Construction is expected to be completed in November 2027, with the centre’s opening projected for the first quarter of 2028.
The centre is being developed with the aim of operating as a Health Ministry-registered nursing care facility.
Matrix Concepts group managing director Kelvin Lee said over the past 30 years, it had seen how a township grows beyond its homes and buildings.
“It is about creating a place where people can live, work, learn and access the services they need.
“As Bandar Sri Sendayan continues to develop, the nursing care centre adds another important service for residents and their families. We are pleased to work with Alpro Group and Mercy Senior Care Centre to bring this facility to the community,” he added.
The partnership brings together the respective strengths of the three organisations.
