MELAKA: Barisan Nasional candidate for the Lendu seat Datuk Abdul Hakim Abdul Wahid arrived at the nomination centre for the Melaka election at 9.14am.
Abdul Hakim, who is also political secretary to Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, arrived at the Alor Gajah Youth Complex wearing a blue Baju Melayu and accompanied by BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
He is among eight new faces fielded by BN in the Nov 14 state election.
Meanwhile, Bersatu candidate Nazri Ramli arrived earlier, about 8.50am, wearing a red Baju Melayu and accompanied by the party’s co-founder Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof.
