KUALA LUMPUR: Lawyers for former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak are finalising the necessary procedures following payment of his RM50 million fine today.
A source from Najib’s legal team confirmed that the fine had been paid, adding that the team was attending to the remaining procedures.
The payment paves the way for Najib, 73, who has been held at Kajang Prison since Aug 23, 2022, to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest.
