Poland says Austrian woman among killed in Krakow shooting

KRAKOW: A Polish regional official said on Sunday that an Austrian woman was among the six people killed in a shooting in Krakow after a man opened fire at random in the historic city centre.

“I can confirm that the 51-year-old woman, who is the sixth victim of this attack, is an Austrian national,” Malopolska region Governor Krzysztof Kleczar told reporters.

He added that a British citizen whose death in the attack was announced on Saturday was a 32-year-old man. The four others killed were Polish.
