KUALA LUMPUR: JUICE Best Of returns for its 2026 edition, recognising the individuals, venues and creative communities contributing to Malaysia’s music, fashion, lifestyle and events landscape.
Organised by pop culture platform JUICE, the annual initiative celebrates both established names and emerging talent, including independent creatives and operators who play a role in shaping the country’s cultural scene.
FIVE CATEGORIES FEATURED
This year’s edition features five main categories — Music, Events, Fashion, Places and Person of the Year — recognising contributions from local artists and designers to entertainment venues and lifestyle destinations.
JUICE team lead and editor Ben Liew said the initiative aimed to recognise individuals and communities making meaningful contributions to their respective creative scenes.
“At JUICE, we’re interested in the people who make things happen, whether they’re playing to packed rooms, putting out records independently, building a label from the ground up, or creating spaces where communities can come together.
“Best Of is about recognising that contribution and giving the people who support these scenes a voice in celebrating them. It’s not just about who’s the biggest, but who’s making an impact,” he said.
The Music category features awards for Best New Artist, Best Solo Act, Best Band, Best DJ, Best Song and Best Album/EP.
The Events category recognises Best Concert, Best Club Event and Best Festival, while Fashion covers Best Designer and Best Label.
Under Places, the categories include Best Bar, Best Cocktail Bar, Best Club, Best Live House, Best Café and Best Healing.
Voting is now open to the public, with Malaysians invited to select their preferred nominees through the official JUICE Best Of 2026 voting platform.
The previous edition received more than 20,000 votes in its first week, with the total exceeding 65,000 votes throughout the voting period.
Voting for this year’s edition closes on Dec 7.
